Rising hopefuls of the French pop scene Housse de Racket return for a second night, this time supported by an all-female DJ lineup including Mai-chan, a firm feature at Le Baron pop-oriented nights and Yoppy, who has been appearing more frequently of late. So girls, get together and pop into Le Baron Tonight！
HOUSSE DE RACKET
Newcomers to the French music scene, electro duo Housse de Racket (lit. racket cover) is comprised of Pierre and Victor, who selected their unusual name for its references to the music genre and the fact they make a lot of noise. Their first album, Forty Love, a mix of pop and electro, was released in 2008 to high acclaim.
YOPPY
Born in 1980 in Osaka, Yoppy had a column in a fashion magazine when she was in high school. After moving to Tokyo, she began to work as a talent in earnest. In recent years, she has been working as the director of fashion label DRANHEAL and working on music with her band Yoppy & The Attackers.
Mai
Tokyo’s number one hardcore party girl, Mai-chan is working on the Tokyo end of campaign for Vitamin Water and just returned from a trip to Paris and the Cannes Film Festival. Check out her party reports at www.maisassygirl.blogspot.com ! it’s a must-read!!
