HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO MY BEAUTIFUL MOTHER!

I know this post is late..but we landed in LA on my mom's birthday.. Can you guess how old she is?! She looks waaaay younger than her real age I'll tell you that!  Anyhow I was so happy that baby zooey totally remembered grandpa and grandma...it was the best reunion ever!  Family time is so important! As much as I 'used' to party, and as much fun as it was to meet a lot of amazing people, amazing artists, celebrities, musicians...at the end of the day, it's all about my family.  Happy Birthday Mommy! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE BEST MOM & GRANDMA IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD! ♥ 8.13.2012

Another year has passed and my mom's age is going up but as you can see she still looks amazingly young and beautiful! .... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe my mom is 58 years old!!!! I hope I can be as beautiful as her when I get pass my 50s! From March this year, my mom became a grandmother..and she is the bestest grandmother ever to baby zooey. I can't say much about the fashion sense for baby (look at zeebra tights hehehe 笑).. but she has taught me everything I need to know about being a mother and I couldn't have surived my 1st few months of motherhood without her!!! Thank you mommy for being so patient and loving to me, ryota, and zooey.  WE LOVE YOU LONG TIME! ♥

MATERNITY LEAVE ♥

So it's official, I'm on maternity leave..I'm back in LA & Orange County now, resting, getting spoiled by family, eating well, and watching too much reality TV.  I'm still super exhausted from moving last week and getting things ready for this short vacation but I think by next week I will have the energy to go out and about to meet friends and go shopping.  Tonight my aunt came over and gave me this baby gift...she crochetted this cute hat, booties and blanket. She knows me so well..anything that looks like strawberries is exactly ME!  Did I mention that I'm having a GIRL?  I'm so excited!!!

みんな、今からbabyを生むのためにロスにいます！ここでfamilyとゆっくり休んでて、いっぱい美味しいと安心の食べ物をたべてます！今日、マイのおばあさんが自分で作ったbabyプレゼントを貰いました！！ちょう可愛くない？！やばい！苺みたいなことが大好き！！

これから頑張ります！！

SUNNY CALIFORNIA

I've finally left the uncomfortable heatwave of TOKYO and landed safely in breezy California.  The weather is sooo much better here and I'm not all sweaty and dying a heatstroke.  The flight wasn't so bad because I was siting in Premium Economy and the seats were way bigger and the service was awesome.  I'll be here for about 2 weeks, primarily for work and promoting an event at FRED SEGAL, to get a few wedding planning things done and also hopefully I will get a chance to really relax and rest too. It's also my mommy's birthday today!!! Isn't she so cute! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!! Can you believe she is only 57!?!?! heheh

I went to HIROSHIMA to visit my mother in law and sister in law before we all go to LA for me and hubby's wedding next month.  It was such a nice trip, being surrounded by nature.  I think next time we will go by airplane because the ride up by shinkansen was TOUGH!  Anyhow I had a wonderful experience in the countryside.  Can't wait to visit mom in law again!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

I know this is a few days late, but I wanted to dedicate this post to my dad.  I want to say HAPPY FATHER'S DAY and thank you daddy for always supporting me and believing in me.  My mom has been wanting me to move back to LA for some time now but my father wants me to be where I am most happy..which was TOKYO.  Now I've found the love of my life and we went to LA together to meet my parents back in February so that he could ask my father for permission to marry me.  They got along right away.  Tho my hubby could not speak much English and my father could not speak Japanese, they were able to communicate with each other during their smoking breaks. I guess they call that 'tobacommunication?' hehe My father is a very logicial & VERY INTELLIGENT man.  When anything goes wrong, he can fix it!!! hehe When I first moved to tokyo..the M key on my computer had popped off and I freaked out and called daddy.  I know..I'm spoiled... and really there is nothing that he could've done from half way around the world.. hehe I ended up going to Yamada Denki and got it fixed.   Anyhow daddy, Thank you SOOOOOO much for everything you've done for me, everything you've taught me, and for continuing to support me when I should be an independent adult.. =)  I LOVE YOU DADDY!!!!!! I'll see you very sooon!!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
