I was supposed to get one on one time to interview her for you tokyo peeps, but she went home early because her baby got sick.. *sad face*
Anyhow..here is some advice that she gave to the bloggers...
♥ She mentioned that she used to be inspired by magazines and European countries..but now, with technology these days, instagram, checking hashtags, following bloggers etc..inspire her socially.. yay for us!
♥ She believes that creating dialogue with your customer is very good. As active as BCBGENERATION with with their customers, it's no wonder they are doing so well!
♥ Social media is a way to see if things will fly or not. You can easily take an emotional temperature with customers about things with social media. **SO TOTALLY TRUE**
♥ She thinks that transparency is a big trend right now. Wearing lingerie on the outside, slip dresses, transparent dresses over skirts..
♥She wants to bring back high waist skinny bellbottoms..
♥She also thinks that 2 piece evening dresses are the next big trend..
♥ She thinks that white soles will be a trending shoe.
♥ She believes that bloggers are business women. We are not allowed to stop being inspired..when we feel we are in a rut, we need to go out there and be collaborative..and collaborating with people who understand the asthetic is the key.
♥ 90's style is her favorite. BCBGeneration loves the 90's.
