HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEVERLY ERI @ PALIHOUSE HOTEL

It's been WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY tooooo long since I've stepped into a 'club' like environment...and not only that, but a 'club' like environment in LA. (tho it felt a little bit like Tokyo hehe ) I will admit it was awkward!  haha I don't know if becoming a mom changed my ability to party.. but anypoo..it was fun. 

So last night I went to Beverly Eri's birthday celebration at The Palihouse Hotel in West Hollywood.  The music was good (they even played 'the smiths')

I couldn't stay very long because I had to get home to Orange County in a decent hour...But I know how birthdays are (birthday girl is always busy!) and tho I wasn't able to take any photos with Eri to capture the moment, I hope there was a memory of me stopping by. hehe Renting a suite at this hotel was a great place to celebrate a birthday!! Bringing back memories for when I did my birthday at MYHOUSE in Hollywood...oh the party days...

TOKYO, HOW I MISS THEE..

*sigh* some of the invitations of events and exhibitions that I'm missing out on this month and this was only half..hubby had already thrown away the ones that took place at the end of 2012.  I miss you TOKYO.  I'm kind of glad that I kept baby out of the snowstorm and it's already looking like spring in LA BUT..I MISS my life in Japan..My Husband..my independence.  I realize it's been um..a while since I updated. I seriously have been hibernating with baby indoors..and trying to keep her healthy.  I will officially be returning to Tokyo at the end of February as I was invited to attend the MAGIC MARKET WEEK aka The Magic Trade Show in Las Vegas.  Anyone coming into town for that?  I am looking forward to one huge party that week... and can't wait to share it with you. Until then, I'm training baby how to sleep through the night so that it will be easier for my parents to take care of her when i'm gone on this 'business trip' ! Motherhood.. It ain't easy.

GOOD-BYE 2012..♥

Dear World...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Let me just start by saying that this has been a slow yet busy year for me.  But thank you so much for sticking around and continuing to read my blog.  It's been a struggle accepting it but this year is finally over and I am finally able to admit it! I am now a mother and can no longer do as much as I used to while caring for baby.  I know many people find my link because they are looking for the party reports in Tokyo..but unfortunately I wasn't able to deliver that this year and I deeply apologize...(no more clubbing for a while for this mama) However, I will be involved in a few cool projects in 2013 so while I continue to keep this blog alive with events that end before 9pm (hehe) and get back to reporting about cool stuff in tokyo...I hope you don't give up on me!  This blog might as well become 'Baby Zooey's typical LIFE in Tokyo'.. hehe 

I did not get to spend the holidays in Tokyo this year as Baby Zooey and I have been in LA since early November to spend the end of this year with my family.  She's growing very fast and has been easily adaptable in all types of environment.  Babies grow sooooooo fast and they are so smart.  So I'm taking the advantage of raising her in both Tokyo and LA so that she can take in as much as she can!

With that being said..I will be traveling back and forth a bit in 2013...sooo.. I might not be able to blog about 5-12 parties in a night in Tokyo for now... but I will be sharing my fun projects with you.
