Hello everyone! I am featured in FIGARO JAPON this month BIG THANK YOU to stylist YUUKA MARUYAMA, who is KIMURA KAELA'S stylist and whom also did some styling for me for the YOSOOU catalogue shooting earlier last year. She chose me and DJ HIROMI as her inspiration, which is a HUGE compliment for me! hehe I remember during the YOSOOU shoot, she wanted me to keep on all my accessories that I had worn in on that day. Anyhow, I hope you will pick up a copy of this month's FIGARO..as it features a lot of other interesting articles too!!! I'm so happy that I got chosen for this, tho I don't usually go ALL OUT with my personal style, (I hardly own anything super hi-end or very expensive), I love to accessorize and usually wear things that make me comfortable. Going from PARTY GIRL to Fashion Interactive has been quite an experience...These two things are very different.. but this transition couldn't have come at a better time as I will be taking a little break soon. 30 weeks pregnant and ready to burst! To go from an average of 3-7 parties per night to not even being able to stay awake after dinner is a sign to slow down..hehe I promise to come back with a BANG so please don't give up on me yet ok? hehe

Awww, my first big fashion show of 2012.. and I made it just in time for LIE SANG BONG, a korean brand that I had visited the press room once in Seoul last year. My girl Melody Yoko walked for this brand as well as EMI, CAROLINA & Tominaga AI. They looked amazing!!! I know I said before that I stopped taking runway photos for these BIG FASHION shows but I just couldn't miss LIE SANG BONG!

Dear all, this post is super LATE..and I deeply apologize. I just recently MOVED..and didn't have internet for a few days!!!!!! But anyhow, let me just share that I went to visit LIBRE EBISU... finally. This libre burrito is in EBISU, located about 2 minutes outside of the EAST EXIT. Just go down the hill when you go out of the station and make a LEFT toward KOMAZAWA DORI when you hit the big street. I'd refer to the map if you are not sure.. hehe It's next to a shop called Kitchen 101.

so there is a NEW MENU...salads..taquitos..burrito bowls...OMG!

For those of you scared of the radiation..the meat is all from overseas...

I had a fun day with Sasha Owen today..and we ended it up at the SWAGGER S/S 2012 launch party which also featured VINTAGE frames from the Japanese Eyewear boutique SOLAKZADE . Trying on these frames were so much fun!

The theme of Swagger's S/S 2012 Collection is 'WE BELIEVE IN PARADISE'. I don't have any photos of the collection on this post but the collection will be available at the SWAGGER store from TOMORROW 1.14.2012 (sat).

Already the 2nd week of the new year and the parties and events are slowly coming back. HAPPY ME! So, let me tell you a little bit about this space. The concept is actually pretty cool...Alexander Lee Chang, who used to be a pro-skater has had his own clothing brand for a while and this is his 1st FLAGSHIP shop. The concept of this shop is for it to be a 'communication' space..there's a cafe space, an art box space and clothes that you can purchase. As you can already tell a lot of skaters and 'artist' will be frequenting this place. I went to HIROSHIMA to visit my in-laws for New Years..In Japan, it's a tradition to spend time with your family for this holiday..I learned this when I first moved to Japan.. I thought people partied hard for the countdown, (which some do)..but a majority of them go back to their hometown. I'm so happy that I have family to go visit for the holidays now!! And, let me not forget about the delicious food that they always prepare for us!!! yummmmmmmmy! ok so...after our arrival, the dinner on our first night..

We also had Yakiniku one night but I was too exhausted to take photos.....Anyhow all I have to say is that I am so grateful to have in-laws that cook such delicious meals and fed me soo well during the holidays!! Living in Tokyo, I don't eat very well so it was great for the health of the baby in my belly which probably gained so much weight in the past few days! I am back in Tokyo now, and ready to start 2012 fresh. There will be a lot of changes this year, especially with baby coming. Work will be changing a bit, as well as my blog. I haven't decided yet what I will do next but I hope that you will continue to keep reading...I apologize again that I will not be attending as many clubs as I did before (because of the circumstances) but hope to substitute those posts with more interesting content. I will however continue to attend fashion events, shop openings etc until I can't walk anymore so we have a few more months left for that. HEHE I might be missing out on this year's A/W Fashion Week tho because I might go into labor then. WOW. Time really flies.

Have any of you thought of a new year's resolution? I don't see the point, as we always tend to forget about it after a few weeks. I say just live life the best you can, live it to the fullest, but don't try toooooo hard..let things come to you naturally.. don't step on others... don't use others.. and don't hesitate to help others.. be positive .. smile... if you've been burned before, don't let it happen again... cut the people out of your life that drain you (the users) be strong and stand up for yourself... appreciate your friends and family.. appreciate the people who HELPED YOU get to where you are & acknowledge them... communication is key.. so when things feel funny, talk them out.. These are the things that helped me get thru the year and have contributed to my success!

I want to say thank you to all my readers! Without you, I wouldn't be where I am today!! Thank you soo much and Happy Happy Happy New Year!!!

WENDY'S IS BACK!!!!!

I never really ate WENDY's until I moved to Tokyo, which was about 4 years ago...but they always had this 100￥menu that I loved..It was SOOOO GOOOOOD! But suddenly...ALL THE WENDY'S shops were GONE!!!!! (I would say over a year ago???) I was so sad...but then...on December 27th of this year, WENDY'S MADE A COME-BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need to find this shop...and heard it's in Omotesando..not in the same place it used to be but...I am determined to find it today... I mean look at this menu, how can you RESIST the CHILI CHEESE FRIES!????????????....i know im a fatty..but yo I'm pregnant so whatevers!!!! I can eat whatever I want! heheheheheeh

um HELLO...baked POTATO!!!!!

SUPER 8 & HANNA

I wasn't into the hype for SUPER 8 when it first came out..but because my friend PAUL recommended it.. I decided to check it out. As Paul put it, it was an 'ode to our own childhood as dreamers'. I was surprised at how it really DID remind me of the curiosity & innocence of our childhood.. This is definately the E.T. / GOONIES (from my childhood days) of this new generation. Elle Fanning was so good in it. The ending was a little cheesy but the overall movie wasn't bad. You do tend to feel connected to the characters. It's worth renting.

My friend Paul also recommended HANNA. I had NO IDEA what this movie was about before rending it but it was super exciting to watch. I love watching movies where Kids Kick ASS! Basically this 16 yr old is brought up to be an assassin. It was such a good suspense thriller. Cate Blanchett is pretty awesome in it too..but I have to say SAOIRSE RONAN ROCKS in this movie! The music for this movie is by the CHEMICAL BROTHERS. Now go rent it!

It's been a relaxing holiday season for me this year as I've been a little under the weather and my baby is starting to kick A LOT... because it's so cold outside, it feels a lot better to stay home and catch up on all my favorite TV shows and movies. I hope everyone is having a great Holiday break!! I promise to bring more exciting updates after the New Year!!! Bring it 2012!

RECOMMENDED MOVIES FOR KIDS ♥

I know this movie came out a while ago but I was always curious about it. I heard my MILO has been obsessed with it so I had to watch it so that I can have fun conversations with him. hehe CARS 1 was pretty cute and a pretty good 'life lesson' type of movie for kids. The jokes are pretty funny and the ending of the movie leaves you feeling like 'awww friendship is awesome & life is much more beautiful with FRIENDS.' If you are looking for a cute movie to rent for the holidays..I recommend CARS.

CARS 2 is SOOOOO FUNNY! It has the 'james bond' kind of story and I LOVE how they travel to TOKYO...and how everything is technologically advanced! haha My favorite scene was when Mater goes into the Japanese bathroom. I started to feel that MATER was annoying but knew that in the end he would come out a HERO. I hope I didn't give too much away. I would watch CARS 1 before watching the sequel. There are so many new characters so it helps to know who the original ones are. I definately recommend this movie too!

This is the season of End of the Year Parties aka 忘年会. But because I can't walk well at the moment nor DRINK...I've had to be super selective on the ones that I could attend. Every mid-December until people stop working there are these traditional 'let's forget the year' parties. I think I went to one everyday in December last year. It's always nice to catch up with people before they go off on vacation and reflect about the year. I felt a lot closer to this agency this year because of the ULTRABLOGGERS project that I did for Fashion's Night Out. They have a lot of things in store for me next year so I'm excited to grow together with them. Anypoo..HAPPY END OF THE YEAR EVERYONE!!!!

THE NAIL SHOP EXHIBITION x KEITA MARUYAMA PREVIEW EVENT REPORT 12.20.2011

I personally don't usually do nail art but I was interested in this event but Aya Fukuda designs LADY GAGA's nail art! I was curious what kind of nail art would be on display and also this was a collaboration with Keita Maruyama! This is different from GEL NAILS...they are Chips that go on top of your nail so they can easily be glued on and taken off. Convenient!

but the real reason I was here..was for my massage.....you're not allowed to get a massage when you are within your first trimester (First 3 months of pregnancy because there is a risk of a miscarriage)..so I hadn't had a massage since I got pregnant... and anyone who knows me KNOWS that I NEED my massages like every other weeek!! It's been tough! so you can see how excited and HAPPY I was to discover this!!!!! The room was equipt with the prego body pillow...one that I really need to invest in very soon as my back is starting to hurt and it's getting more and more difficult to sleep comfortably!

everything was organic. yay!

I will say that..this was one of the most amazing massages that I have ever had in my entire LIFE! The facial was great too!! Hubby even noticed that my skin was a bit lighter..hehe If you are pregnant and are looking for a place to get a maternity massage, I highly recommend JURILIQUE! We had a TRIP'S ANGELS meeting at MAHO'S house last night..

and we were able to watch the lunar eclipse from her balcony!

I was surprised at how well my RICOH CX5 took photos..

it was kind of amazing to watch...

and the sky was so clear!

But at the very end, the clouds blew thru...and I couldn't take any good final shots. I remember watching the eclipse 2 years ago with KEYTH at saigoyama park. It got too cold and I went home early..so I really didn't see the entire thing like I did last night. It's kind of amazing isn't it.

I heart perfume launch parties because since I normally don't wear perfume, I get to learn & smell the new scents that are being produced by a variety of brands constantly.

She makes this scent ROBERTO CAVALLI PARFUM SO SEXY.

How would I describe this scent...well, it feels a bit 'mature'..I felt that Roberto Cavalli was in the room.. but it's not TOO strong..and kind of feels nice for winter.. there is something 'warm' about it..

as you can see the design of the bottle is super chic

this isn't just ANY CHEAP perfume..

love it.

Dear readers, as some of you might know by now, I'm about 23 weeks pregnant..(and YES, this is the main reason why I cannot go to CLUBS anymore at the moment!! and deeply apologize for the lack of CLUB PARTY REPORTS!!! hee hee) and when I was shopping for maternity clothes at DESTINATION MATERNITY in LA, I was recommended this 'stretch mark' tummy rub. I've been using it twice a day (well at least I try) and so far, as my belly is getting bigger, NO STRETCH MARKS! YAY! I'm sure this works for all types of stretch marks..it makes your skin more elastic so that it can withstand all the stretching that might occur. My cousin just came for a short visit and brought me more stock. SO HAPPY. So the brand is MAMA MIO..If you are pregnant and worry about stretch marks I definately recommend this brand. It isn't gooey or sticky and smells pretty good too!!

妊娠してるのママになるへ、このSTRETCH MARK CREAMはオススメ！マイは９月からつかって、すごいいい感じです！お腹は大きくなるけど肉割れはぜんぜんないよ！

I've been obsessed with TORY BURCH and finally own one pair of Tory Burch flats that I bought in NY! I hope to collect all of them one day. HEHE Tonight was the Christmas party...I felt this was an event for their VIP customers, making it an interesting mixture of people. It really showed how many Tory Burch fans there were out there! Quite Amazing! Anyhow, it was a night that reminded me of PROM NIGHT..it took place in a nice ballroom (TOKYO AMERICAN CLUB), the music was fresh (hip hop) and the people were all dressed up!
